Apple pay iphone 5

I don't believe Apple Pay has been launched in the U.K. yet, has it?

You're correct - it hasn't. I suppose we'll have to move away from stones with holes in on pieces of string before Pay becomes viable 🙂

Last I checked, Apple Pay requires an iPhone 6 or above. Does this requirement change due to the Apple watch? In other words, does the watch support the Apple Pay even with a phone that does not support it? Curious question here, since I have a 5s.

I haven't seen anything that suggests that the requirements for Pay have changed because of the event of the Watch

Weirdly, yes. You can, apparently use Apple Pay with a 5S if you have the watch.

Mind you, I haven't found Apple Pay to be quite as seamless on the watch as on the phone.

Thank you for that update. Might make the consideration of the watch a little less expensive than having replace both the watch and the phone.
